One year in remission and it feels stupendous...

A year ago today, Charlie was pointing out, quite earnestly, how much I resembled a Tim Burton character.

Big ups to my mom for braving traffic and the elements two weeks in a row to come with me to scans and doctor visits. There's no better feeling than snipping off that hospital bracelet and going home for Christmas.

Below, veins, not goin down without a fight! And, a holiday visit to the Public Garden.
