Dublin has got Halloween on lock. The Celts pretty much invented it, marking the end of summer and acknowledging the supernatural. As early as the Middle Ages, beggars would go door to door offering prayers for the dead in exchange for food (they favored Sour Patch Kids and Tootsie Pops). And Bram Stoker? Totally Irish.
